Fuel Storage Terminal

Avesoro operates Fuel Storage Terminal located in LPRC (Liberia Petroleum and Refinery Company) Facility in Monrovia. The terminal has a total of 30.000 m3 gasoil capacity with 3 tanks, 1 top loading gantry that can load 2 trucks at the same time. Terminal was commissioned in December 2023 with high standards and technology including automatic tank gauging systems, motor operated valves, firefighting systems, PLC and SCADA systems CCTV and etc. Terminal is conducting its daily operations with full compliance with HS rules, LPRC procedures, environmental laws and international codes.

Fuel for the projects is sourced and is directly offloaded into the fuel storage tanks. Avesoro then transfers the fuel from their tanks to tanker trucks for delivery to the mine sites. This process ensures a continuous supply of high-quality and cost-effective fuel guaranteeing uninterrupted operation of the mines.
