Exploration

Avesoro has a significant license area throughout Liberia, encompassing a total of 12 licenses covering an area of 4,090.86 square kilometers, including exploration, mining exploration, and mining activities. In recent years, following exploration activities, the New Liberty, Ndablama, Weaju, and Matambo projects have progressed to the mining stage.

The Avesoro Exploration team explores economically viable ore deposits. They focus on suitable geological environments and aim to minimize the time from exploration to production. Sampling and core drilling activities are currently ongoing in the advanced exploration projects, while geophysical surveys, mapping and sampling operations continue in exploration fields. Exploration fields are open to development due to their high potential.

With our experienced exploration team, we aim to continue resource exploration activities in our license areas across Liberia, adhering to international exploration procedures to contribute new resource areas to our company's production.

Drilling

Avesoro has its own drilling team working primarily with the responsibility of human health and safety, the protection of natural life in all its activities and construction sites. Equipped with experienced personnel and robust machinery, the team works by adopting the mission of quality and efficient work in its operations. Avesoro has an annual drilling capacity of 500,000 meters playing an important role for both Underground and Open Pit operations as well as Exploration activities. In 2023, the team drilled a total of 422,705 meters. By the end of May 2024, they had already completed 127,496 meters of drilling. This demonstrates their significant contribution to the company's overall operations and commitment to their mission.
